LIMITED EDITION Lanternfly—North Ave Fingering/Sport
A mix of black and natural dip-dyed in scarlet and gray.
Available on both Penn Ave and North Ave while supplies last.
The Spotted Lanternfly (Lycorma delicatula) is native to Southeast Asia, where its population is kept in check by parasitic wasps. Unfortunately, it’s spread to areas where it doesn’t have predators—including the mid-Atlantic United States. This summer, it reached Baltimore in full force.
If you see a lanternfly, SQUISH IT! They destroy crops and ornamental trees and are multiplying exponentially!
We make this spectacular color by dip dyeing one side of our Black Butterfly color in scarlet and the other in gray. The result is nearly as stunning as the dreaded fly itself.
We’ll be dyeing Lanternfly to order, so please allow 2 weeks for shipment.
